We’ve created an exceptionally caring, dog-centric environment where each dog has the freedom to play, rest or interact with others at their own pace. You won’t find kennels here unless you bring one. We are a free-range play & sleep facility and we do our best to mimic how your dog sleeps at home. Private Suites available upon request. Staff supervise dogs always during play, and sometimes dogs sleep overnight with staff! Each dog is loved and kept safe during their stay. A PupTown dog is a blissfully happy, thoroughly-exhausted-by-the-end-of-the-day dog!
Playcare
Largest play yard in the Twin Cities!
PupTown has 14,000 sq ft of yard for dogs of all shapes & sizes to run freely with direct supervision. Eight foot fences safely secure dogs and our yards are carpeted in artificial turf, so dogs go home played yet clean. No Muddy Dogs here! The yard is divided for dogs of all energy levels small and large to safely play. Handlers are well trained to manage energy levels. PupTown staff genuinely care about each dog as if they were their own.
Climate control & natural light interior spaces
Dogs have unlimited access to all spaces of the building, which means dogs will be well-played at pickup no matter the season. Clients often state their dog is a happier dog with social interactions received at PupTown. Interior spaces provide dogs of similar play styles to play in smaller groups. Indoor spaces are temperature controlled and windows provide natural light. Breaks are provided throughout the day – but the spirit of PupTown is to play safely. In warmer months dogs enjoy pools to stay cool and some prefer the AC climate and the fans indoors. All dogs have access to continuous feed water bowls and are cleaned hourly. In cooler months outdoor play is still encouraged, but is more limited for safety of paws. Fleece sweaters provided for those with less dense coats.

Boarding
Caring staff are here 365 days a year!
Overnights at PupTown are always well supervised by staff who sleep here on site with our free-range sleep on raised cots. Boarding drop off is requested by Noon, to ensure each dog is well played, and ready for rest in preparation for early rise the next day. If your dog prefers a crate, please bring it, although not required. All suites and open sleep rooms are temperature controlled, and dogs are provided a raised cot, fleece blanket, and a good night snuggle. Please state your special requests: water, bedtime treat & scent articles from home can be accommodated in one of our private suites.

Grooming
It’s time to pamper the pooch PupTown-style.
From quick trims to full-groom makeovers, we’ve got your pup covered. You can request Face-Feet-Fanny or Puppy packages which allow more time to work with your new puppy. We encourage grooming as early as 4 months to get dogs acquainted with it early. Please book early as we do book out at peak-times which are Christmas & Spring Break time-frames.

Grooming cannot be done via the portal at this time, so please call to schedule. Grooming is done generally Monday through Saturdays. We only groom dogs who are scheduled, but nails can be completed most days. We highly recommend a day of Grooming & Play! Ask about our Groom & Play sessions, for a full day of discounted play. We love this for your pal who can then be rewarded back into play once the grooming is completed. It’s a win-win!
Grooming Rates
Dogs come in all shapes and sizes, so prices vary. We can provide estimate, however groomers set final pricing and prices vary depending on dog temperament & the condition of the coat. Our commitment to you is to provide great service at a fair rate. Groomers save notes so grooming is as consistent each time. PupTown uses temperature controlled water & high-quality shampoos & conditioners that are face-friendly. We use temperature controlled blowers to blow out excess undercoat, hair and water so dogs go home fully finished.
Grooming Services
Full Groom – Bath, conditioner, brushing, nail trim & grind, ear cleaning & a full haircut.
Bath Package – Bath, conditioner, brushing, nail trim & grind, ear cleaning – No haircut.
Deshed Package – Available to help remove excess undercoat, great for spring, please ask!
Face, Feet & Fanny – Nice option to extend the life of your last groom, but includes bath, conditioner, brushing, nail trim & grind, ear cleaning & minimal trimming as requested.
Nails Only – Call ahead or day of, can be provided most days.
Bath Only – Done by groomer or a staff member can be provided most days.
PupTown uses temperature controlled water and high-quality, face-friendly shampoos & conditioners only. Blow dryers are high-speed & temperature controlled to blow out excess water, undercoat & ensure dogs are fully dried.

Training Workouts
Very popular training option that clients have their dogs frequently do! These 25-minute workout sessions are great for dogs who already come for play. Dog-only training can be done with or without group play. Designed to sharpen manners, build consistency & reinforce important skills. 2-3 workouts a week provide lasting results & packages available. Sessions are helpful to maintain good behaviors, reinforce learned skills & manners, help impulse control, appropriate group play, understand social cues and more. Please ask how we can help!

Group Classes
Limited class size help develop your dog at every stage to build lifelong bonds & create a well-balanced pack. Classes are positive, personalized & supportive.

Foundational Classes
Puppy Obedience – Learn puppy behaviors & how to communicate with your dog. Learn the skills to help you raise a confident, loving pup. For dogs ages 8 weeks to 6 months.
Manner 1 – A foundational class for dogs 4 months and older. Together we learn & practice basic manners to build a good foundation for you and your dog.
Manners 2 – This class helps build a deeper connection with your dog. Prerequisite class: Manners 1. Learn & practice deeper skills to lead your dog with confidence.
Advanced Classes
Advanced classes offer interactive environments where dogs & owners move beyond the basics to develop advanced skills.
AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) – Builds on the skills learned in AKC STAR Puppy or Dog Raising. Strengthens obedience, focus & manners in public. Preps for the advanced AKC classes skills test & Certification.
AKC Community Canine – Advanced obedience skills builds upon CGC Class, advancing skills in public environments.
AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
Offers a higher level of distraction with busy urban environments & builds a higher level of skill & control.
